AFTERCARE AND RECOVERY

Aftercare Focuses on the Immediate period following Treatment

Aftercare focuses on the immediate period following ibogaine treatment.

This phase supports physical recovery while also helping individuals begin to understand and contextualise their experience in a safe and supported environment.

Our aftercare is guided by a therapist trained in integration work, drawing on Jungian psychological frameworks where appropriate.

THE DAYS AFTER TREATMENT

It is common to experience:

• physical fatigue
• changes in sleep patterns
• reduced appetite
• emotional sensitivity
• difficulty concentrating

Rest, hydration, nourishment, and gentle movement support the body and nervous system during this period.

GUIDED REFLECTION

Aftercare includes optional guided reflection and therapeutic support to help individuals make sense of their experience.

Support may include:

• discussing significant moments from the experience
• contextualising symbolic or emotional material
• normalising post-session responses
• supporting emotional regulation and grounding

TRANSITIONING FORWARD

As stability returns, attention gradually shifts toward applying insight and building supportive structures in daily life.

This longer-term work continues under Integration.
